The Pitt County Pirate Club
The Pitt County Pirate Club Chapter is the largest chapter of the East Carolina Educational Foundation (ECU Pirate Club), with nearly 2,000 members. The primary purpose of the Pitt County Chapter is to support all ECU athletic activities and enhance the ability of the ECU Pirate Club to raise the needed funds for athletic scholarships. The chapter does this by several means, including numerous activities in the Pitt County area that are not only designed to raise funds, but also to establish positive public relations and spread good will concerning ECU and ECU Athletics. It is the long term goal of the chapter to maintain and grow both membership and contribution numbers and ensure maximum efforts in the chapter relating to this continued growth.
